For years now, Dom Simon has been developing a unique artistic approach, blending drawing, photographic collage, and cinematic elements. In «it’s all in your head,» Simon presents a series of drawings that act as windows into a mental space, where characters seem suspended. It’s a space ripe for embryonic and ephemeral thoughts, weaving narratives of potential connections, composing scenarios, and dreaming of both desired and dreaded presences.

      Simon’s delicate lines and compositions offer a glimpse into the intricacies of human connection to the world. In front of these transitional plans, these visions, the viewer may feel inspired to imagine a tracking shot over the whole, imbued with a sense of fleeting beauty and evanescence.

Depuis plusieurs années, Dom Simon développe une pratique
alliant le dessin, le collage photographique et la capture cinémato-
graphique. Dans it’s all in your head, l’artiste propose une série
de dessins telle une fenêtre ouverte sur un espace mental dans lequel
des personnages semblent suspendus; un état propice aux pensées
embryonnaires et éphémères qui nous traversent et nous amènent
à tisser des rapports possibles, à composer des situations, à rêver
des présences désirées ou redoutées…
